The Deceived
Shreds of colors pass before my foolish eyes
A brave heart never to grow old now dies
Was it all just due to a simple lie?
Burning sunlight falls down upon the land
Hot blood seeps deeply into the sands
How shall I ever come to love this man?
The lovers' bitter words dredge up from the past
Ho, all of life is trapped in a clear crystal glass
Shall we drink this tainted wine unto the last?
Choices are made and broken in heated wagers
How still the heart of one is so measured
Life is what we give up for thy pleasure.

Ink
The ink flows from my pen to stain the paper
with words that burn the eyes and numb my mind.
Is this a curse that binds my being and words
or is it a blessing haunting my waking hours?
As the ink penetrates the surface
the truth comes to light in all hell's black fury.
If this is a blessing then let it be a curse

Fate's Blade
Oh Fate, thee are akin to a jeweled encrusted sword whose double-sided blade, gleams and glitters in the cold night.
In truth, thou art falsely wrapped in finery and gems concealing thy true purpose that of deceit and lies whispered solemnly upon the breath of those soon to be damned.
Icy cold steel, unyielding, uncaring riding the hot passage of times' every lengthening fingers.
The blade draws its victim in with many spicy scented dreams floating upon the air, only to ensnare the unwary with its hopeful, bittersweet taste of revenge.
Oh Fate, thy ever slick silvery, agonizing, indifferent blade art always ready to reap, th
Fire and Ice
Cold is thy lips in these icy flames of death.
Shall I join thee with the fire of my blood.
And let it to freeze against your cold flesh?
Oh, so hot does the knife sting my flesh.
I feel death's cold breath creep up my body.
I give thee one last hot passionate kiss
Our bodies forever freeze in an eternal embrace.
